What’s Wrong with the Philippine Postal Corporation?
I don’t understand why 2 mails sent by Google which contains my Adsense pin has not arrived yet. They should have arrived on my doorstep months ago but still there’s none. I called our local post office and they told me that they have not received no mail for me from Google. I asked them who I should call about it and they advised me to contact the Pasay Central Office.
I haven’t contacted Pasay Central Office yet but that’s beside the point. Thing is, my mail should have arrived already. For those who don’t know, getting my Google Adsense pin is very very important because I won’t be able to get my money from Google if I don’t get that pin.
So, what’s wrong with the Philippine Postal Corporation? What’s taking them too long to deliver all those mails?

Actually, that was one of the first things that I double checked and I am sure that my address is right. And to confirm that, I got the second PIN Mailer which uses the same address.

i too had the same experience with philpost..i opted to mail my sister’s very important and urgent documents via their ems, (ems cost 667.00 vs. regular mail 45.00)..the guy told me that the mail will arrived to my sister’s doorsteps abroad 3 days..well it has been 5 days now and my sister havent got it yet..i have my receipt copy with the tracking number but my god! where in the hell will i track my mail..philpost trace & track is under construction..poorest service ive ever encountered..mabuhay pinoy!
I can’t track a package sent to Japan either via IEMS because the @#$%^&&&?!! of Philpost can’t be accessed . Yuck!

Sa totoo lang, minsan parang nakakahiya ang pilipinas dahil sa mga corrupt na nasa gobyerno puro pag papayaman lang ang iniisip! mga buwaya!walang kwenta! sana mabibiyak ang lupa at kakainin ang mga buwaya na yan! ang kakapal ng mga mukha sila ang nakikinabang sa mga buwis na pinag hihirapan ng taong bayan!

Sympathize with your problem re Phil Post tracking being down so your EMS packages can’t be traced. However I was able to confirm delivery and tracking through isnoop.net/tracking, a universal tracking service. I also input my EMS tracking number through the USPS tracking service and viola! I got my trace.

im sad about it. its really frustrating .My ausie bf have the same xperienced too. Im from Cebu. My Ausie sent me a mail a month ago but still it did not arrive me yet. Whats wrong? Pinakialaman ba nila.? How come some mails arrived and how come some dnt. Its really annoying. Wala na talaga tayong tiwala. So unreliable.

I tried the isnoop thing but it doesnt work, and I’m getting frustrated coz I spent a lot of money on my EMS.
I mean, what’s EMS if you can’t track it?!

same experienced here…bakit ang tagal madeliver ng package mahal pa naman ng ems….na track ko sa usps website at dumating na sa philippines october 4 pa til now wala pa….mas madali pa ang travel time ng package from US ilang days lang dumating na sa philippines, dumating na dito october 4 pa til now wala pa rin na deliver…..hay naku tapos hindi mo ma track coz sira ang website ng philpost.
I swear Philpost is really annoying. I purchased two items from Ebay last week and I can’t track it on Philpost website. What the hell?! It’s been under construction since forever. Hopeless..

ako nga nagpadala ng package for someone in Utah last week ng Jan. 29, 2009 hanggang ngayon no package has arrived at the doorstep of the recipient…when in fact I paid for a rush mail express service and I was assured by the Phil Post personnel that the package will arrive at the recipient’s address a week (at most) after the day I sent it…Gosh!
Now I wonder why most professionals go abroad instead of staying here in our country…sistema rito BULOK! tayo-tayo lang maglolokohan pa magnanakawan pa…Can’t we just all be honest and do our job right?
I hate to say this pero Phil Post – personnel, services and all – they S*&^!
San ba pwedeng tumawag para ma check kung hawak na ng philpost yung registered parcel? kaya ba down ang tracking site nila is because meron silang operation pagnanakaw? wag naman sana, wawa yung mga gumastos ng mga pinaghirapang pera para lang sa mga parcel na to, but it’s really getting into my nerves bakit puro magnanakaw ang tingin sa mga nagwowork sa phikpost. Para bang pag dumaan ang sulat or parcel mo sa Philpost at may lamang mahalaga eh siguradong hindi na makakarating sa paroroonan?
By the way, this is how it works about sa tracking:
kung nasan na currently yung parcel or mail you have to use their tracking system, for example pag pinadala mo sa US galing dito, well at first hindi mo pa siya ma tra track dahil unavailable ang philpost tracking system but once nasa US na yung mail eh pwede mo nang gamitin yung tracking system ng UPS or USPS.
Pero kung galing ng ibang bansa papunta ng pilipinas, for example galing ng kong kong, pwede mong ma track instantly using hong kong post tracking system pero once na transfer na sa pilipinas pwede na tayong matakot dahil nga hindi mo na siya ma track dahil down ang tracking system ng philpost.
So basically kaya lang siyang i-track ng tracking system ng isang country as long na nasa kanila pa yung parcel or mail, pag na transfer na, responsibility na nung accepting country’s postal company yung tracking.
So for incomming mails or parcels, wala tayong tracking system once it arrives the Philippines hindi natin siya mata track online.
I hope this gives an idea how tracking systems work.

Phil post office has a lot of robbers employed.
yes… i have very bad experience…and i never learned.
they stole my orders. the recent separate instances.
1. a power adaptor from US
2. a quick charger from HK
from the time i started making orders from other countries with tracking by the way…unless its registered mail…you wont get it. no guarante.
so every time i order i keep my fingers crossed. if theres an option to have it shipped using other providers i use it.
however be advised…customs will charge you an arm and leg for items sent.
my advice…better use door to door like fed ex or other company.
phil post just sucks.
also…if youll notice…if you want to send something outside…youll end up paying more than the item you purchased.
strange though…if US can send the same item for less than 10$ how is it that philpost charge you more than a 1,000php.
but in any case even fedex cost high as well to send items out of country.
why is simply sending items off our country cost an arm and leg compared to other countries.
and what is this government doing to resolve this matter.

I buy item from ebay! the seller already send the item to me at Aug. 1, 2009, that was only from hongkong it should take 8 days-14 days but i did’nt recieve it yet the sender send it as registered mail.. Does anyone know where i can claim and verify that! I already call the Central post office, they said since my mail is Express I should contact the EMS at pasay, then I call then and they made me pass to many telephone numbers to call, those numbers was busy ad sometimes nobody answer! this is very disgusting!

Phil.Post sucks!… Pero may nabasa ako sa Ebay forum, she bought a cellphone from ebay uk and was shipped via Royal Mail. Ayun, she received it naman. Pinuntahan nya nga lang tlga sa local post office nila.

I requested for the PIN to be resent and I got it the second time. Nonetheless, I won’t trust PhilPost without insurance.

That’s the big problem. There doesn’t seem to be a clear method on following up delayed mails / parcels from the Philippine Postal office. I suggest that you also contact your ebay vendor. Did you pay for insurance for the item?
My friend from US sent me several letters mula pa September last year and the last one was sent nitong February 2. Not one of those 6 letters arrived! We are chatting and emailing regularly. He sent those letters because he wants me to have something tangible from him. I did the same. Awa ng Diyos wala kahit isang dumating, the same with my letters to him.
It’s very embarassing. Philpost should be closed or privatized. Totally inutil na yung service and they’re there only to steal. I once have an officemate whose husband worked as a post man. Nagtataka sya bakit ang aga lagi ng asawa nya sa bahay. She discovered natanggal na pala sa trabaho yung asawa nya. One time, walang pasok at naglinis sya ng bahay. Natuklasan nya ang gabundok na sulat sa ilalim ng kama! Inuuwi pla ng kanyang asawa at sa ilalim ng kama dine-deliver kaya aga lagi uwi.
Nyack! Grabe naman yung postman na yun!!!

The reason that the Philippine postal corporation has no available email address in their website is because if they did they would be flooded with complaints ! They are a Rip-off corporation ! They steal from their own countrymen and also any Americans they can get over on .
I sent my GF a cell phone to her address via US priority mail and when it arrived they sent her a message that it was in their hands. When she arrived to pick it up they wanted her to pay $ 68 USD . She was very upset. I sent that to her as a gift ! So I ended up sending her the money to get her cell phone from them. Now the cost of getting her that cell phone has risen to $300 U.S.D. I am PISSED OFF BIG TIME ! I will never , never send anything to the Philippines again !
Take warning all Americans ! You are dealing with a REAL BAD CORPORATION HERE.
DO NOT SEND ANY PACKAGES TO THE PHILIPPINES ! Send the money instead to the receiver so they can buy the products there.

nisend nung seller ko via singpost to philpost daw. ni track ko sa singpost, it said item was dispatched to overseas last 23rd april, but until now, hindi parin nadating, but I’m still hoping.

Yes, still the same as before, i recently purchased an item on e-bay, i got screwed by philpost. i head bang myself against the wall. why i chose regular mails instead of fed-ex. This is really disgusting the philpost should be closed because it’s useless
my sister bought a corset skirt from ebay. the selelr has shipped it the next day…i am really getting furious about the possible reasons bat ang tagal dumating… china lang naman un galing.. the latest data na available to track the item was may 03 pa, no further notices has been made after that. im thinking na id be one of their victims pero… i wont let them just do their will of getting money from me… i mean really, hndi naman na low tech ang pinas para hndi makita ung mga baluktot nilang katwiran.. damn all these government offices.. sariling kababayan ninanakawan….and for the gifts… grabe gifts na nga eh dba? tpos papabayad nila more than the actual price… hell with them…grabe goodluck tlga if id be at their doorsteps….

goodness!Philpost is getting more and more disgusting by the minute!!!! i also ordered some items from e-bay, which, by the way, should have been at my doorsteps two weeks ago…i’m hella sure that it’s not the seller who’s screwing me coz she’s had excellent feedbacks from her other customers in US, AU, etc….reading their feedbacks pisses me off even more coz some of them received their items 4 days to 1 week tops after paying the seller…and she did mention that she’s not sending the items thru FedEX, UPS or any internationally recognized courier…that she’s sending them via int’l. air mail…grrrr….should’ve asked her to send it through other means….i don’t mind paying as long as i receive it….i am SO, SO, SO pissed off…to whom do we address our plights and our concerns ba?! hindi na pwede ang ganito!!!!!
Hi this is very interesting topic grabeh! I want to share something too. Last December I sent a package to my family in the Philippines. Mostly it’s all Christmas Cards but with money inside it (father, brother, sister, pamangkin & inaanak’s xmas gift) worth $300. I was so upset because I was so SCARED to death it took almost 2months before they received the package but THANK GOD they got it. Although why it happened? why do they have to wait for that long??? But again THANK GOD they got it! CORRUPT mailman didnt take it.
Just reading through all the comments is making me furious. I have not received my package from Bangkok sent via EMS. I can track my pack via EMS Thailand but the last update is that it is at Philippine Customs. I have not received any notifications from anyone whatsoever. The PhilPost website has no contact number, nor email, not even an address. I don’t know where to claim my package and I can’t wait any longer. If I wait, I’m sure I’ll lose my package forever. So I have to act now and find that damn custom office or EMS office. I’m going to print out the EMS Thailand tracking page with all the updates from the time it was sent to the time it reached customs. Then I’m going to wear a spycam to capture all that will happen once I find my package and what I have to go through to claim it. I will make sure all these employee’s faces and actions will be captured. I will upload it in youtube with the title “The Philippines Employs Thieves in their Post Offices, Beware”.

I have the same problems as u guys. ive actually been waiting for a package from my mother for xmas season.. she sent it earlier to avoid delays . she said it would arrive after 3weeks.. i tried visiting the post office every other day to check on the package. But still up to now it hasn’t arrived yet. im beginning to think that someone might have taken interest with it. the hell.. i hate philpost esp their employees who are indeed corrupt. And take note they dont accommodate customers well.. they should be reminded once in a while that the filipino people are paying for their services.. ahhh..curses!!!

Actually, Philpost has a lot of “insiders” who track packages to and fro. Pag valuable or sellable ang package or letter, sorry for the senders/receivers pero malamang na ibigay sa inyo for another outrageous fee or stamped as “lost/misplaced package,” which in effect will be sold to tiangges and other bazaars, or given s mga anak/inaanak/bf/gf, etc.
Hindi na tayo nasanay. Sana siguro ma privatize na lang ang PhilPost para masusugod mo yung may ari ng company.

Last year EMS ruined my son’s x’mas,they were only able to deliver my present on the 28th despite of my sending it on the 17th.I was so pissed that i had to call the local(korea ems)branch and guess what they did?They gave me a no. to call in the Phil .When i called it was the ANGONO fire department,.What a joke!
I am one of the victims of these crap people from the PHILPOST. I purchased 2 tribal bracelets online and I was notified by the seller of calitrendz that the stuff I ordered was shipped November 5, 2010, but up to now, the said stuff remains undelivered. I have been advised, ill advised perhaps , by the employees of our local philpost to inquire from their pasay city office. Tama lang sabihin na hanggang ngayon, may mga magnanakaw pa rin sa opisinang ito. Asan ang pagbabago na sinasabi ni PNOY? SHAME ON YOU PEOPLE!!!!
